Year in Review of Chong Jiao Wei 2013
Well, one year, seems so long yet so short. I nearly forget what exactly I have done in a year. Basically my 2013 began with the final examination papers and same as this coming year as well.
Last gathering with friends from MFU before going home and leave USM for one semester.
Traveled to Kuching, Sarawak with Sue Anne before go home for Chinese New Year preparations.
An unexpected journey to the Bako National Park
Then lying at home for one month exactly for the semester break to enjoy my Chinese New Year as well as my home sweet home without thinking about homework, assignment, test or exam, and getting ready for my internship.

Getting into a new environment after 3 years in USM is a new challenge for me after put myself into a comfort zone in USM as well as Penang.
Good Days, I get to know new people in my life. My supervisors, Yen Lin and Faz, two interns from UCSI, Wai Yan and Bing See, the others departments heads and supervisor, Ms. Chan, Mr. Ng, Denise, Ms. Raja, and also the boss, Ms. Catherine. Also those operators within the company. Hrm, four months which take away quarter of my 2013 definitely takes a big part of my memories in this year.
Another chance for me to travel alone. I know that I don't really work good enough. A lot more to learn especially the interaction part. >.<
Anyway still one to be noted and lessons learnt. XD

Then goes another two months holiday. (Long holiday is what I appreciate the most as a student! but it also become the last long holiday in my student life. Sure to miss it alot.)
Went to travel again, and officially broke during the holiday. End up I am becoming very save money this semester. A sudden plan (within a month LOL) travel to Taiwan after I have actually forgotten my promise. So plan in a month and then we FLY.... with coursemate, Sook Fuan, feel sorry for her to walk such a long journey with me. Really got to find one who can withstand my walking distance next time. Because I love to walk, jog and walk. Met my sister who worked there as well. I miss the people and culture there. It feels like home! Go mainly to Taipei and Taichung. The Taipei City, Taipei 101 tower, ChengPin, XiMenTing, Shi Lin Night Market, Jiu Fen, YuRen Jetty, YiZhong Jie, FengJia Night Market, QingJing (for the sheep show and also the horse show that only saw in the drama) for a week, really spend all my saving for years. But worth it!

The next trip went with Daisy, an early plan to Phuket, Thailand, my second home country. But still not able to speak Thai well. And as this trip is really just for rest, we slept a lot in the hostel, simply it is too comfort d. Manage to join one day trip for some adventurous events, well, first time tried on the ATV, and damn, I can't control the head.. So end up I was being fetch by the worker there. LOL... Laugh at myself once I think back I failed to control and bang the bench directly. Then sit for the elephant which although it is a nice experience but saw the news that the elephant might be tortured because of this then not so enjoy already. But the main thing for the trip was to play with the white water rafting. The crazy Daisy shouting like a crazy. We laugh at her like crazy too. LOL. Traveled back by mini van and bus, stop by at Hatyai for some shopping as well. I was actually feels like to go back home earlier but for the first time in my life, I saw Daisy was so reluctant to go home, she insist to stay in Hatyai before we go back to Malaysia. Wow... Maybe she was too tension already.
Souvenir,, I forgotten where did I put it already. Ops.
Managed to meet my 'old' friend Hoo Sin when stop by in Selangor at my sister place. Met her best friend as well. She did ask me a question, whether different gender can be just pure good friends. I can't really give an exact answer. Well, perhaps time will tell you the answer. Remember to inform me also. =P

The remaining time I stayed at home as it would be my last holiday which I can stay home for so long.
There reached my birthday month, my lovely August, with a few of my beloved friends were also born the same month. Not forget it is also the independence day for Malaysia too! As usual, holiday, no one remembers, so I enjoy the single lady day with a movie and simple shopping? ( forgotten it was last year or this year. Haha. Memory lost.)
Had birthday present exchange with my pretty girlfriend again. My girlfriend since secondary, wow, reached 8 years already. Ms. Adrina Lee Min Eek. Hehe...
Our stories began since we were young. Hahaha..
Had a date with someone special too. It was the first time single date maybe? Not sure is it the end. But one day to note as first time listen to the story. Waiting for the rest as well. Don't sure if got the chance.
September arrived, starts my new semester as final year student. Two weeks after sem reopen, it was the convocation for my seniors, friends and of course Ms. Sue Anne, I shared the photo for her convo, but she is still a undergraduate in USM, so everyone were confused. Haha..

Almost the last meeting with my direct senior a.k.a my ex roommate Chia Li also. (Managed to met her during the Penang Marathon in November).
Get my topic for Final Year Project, starting to know about seaweed, the species, compositions, list of analysis about it, product make from seaweed, etc etc which going to occupy my life for the two semester.
Get my proposal done, then presentation then study again about it and now I am still not yet done learning about seaweed, not yet started any lab work while my other coursemates are on the halfway already. >.< Not to compare with the others, I shall follow my speed too.
Then uncountable assignments for projects, lab reports and also given tasks, which gets most of my study time.
Yet still able to enjoy it while doing the tasks given too!
Well, managed to do extra on workout to get ready my marathon in the November, first full marathon in my life. Good job for myself to be able to finish the journey although not in the qualifying time. XD. Proud to be a marathon runner.
Because of that, I have lost some weights too. As I have been gaining fats all these years live in Penang, finally some feedback.
However, there is one thing that worth to be noted too. First time, I have got 'allergic' towards my hands and legs, not sure of the reason yet, but I have been suffering it for quite some times already. Make me stay home more often, but then my housemate was wondering and ask Daisy whether I got no friend in the class or anyway. One which only stays home. LOL....
Not forget to thanks for the internship also, I started to learn some cooking, and this semester, as I am staying out campus so I have try some simple cooking also. (in fact, I am still in the level of frying an egg only, which is the only succeed for my tomato fried egg which my roommate always praise me for that. Haha) other was just plain vegetables to blanched and feed into my stomach!
More to learn!
Tomorrow will be the last class for the semester, there comes my study week and also start to focus on my final and also my FYP again.
Two weeks ahead, 2014 will be coming real soon.
Good or bad memories, let's not thinking again and again, looking forwards to a better tomorrow, which starts by working hard and play harder from today. Cheers!
