I am not here to complain, in fact, I enjoy having something to work on instead of wasting of time. Not that I am going to be free at home (I will be extreme busy for house cleaning if I am home), I enjoy my brain kept spinning to seek for knowledge instead of doing anything without much thinking needed. Although it may somehow make me having headache when the sleep is not a quality one, there is when the brain is too active processing the knowledge when the body wanted to rest.
Maybe there is some who think that I am pity because of staying here and not able to go home; or there is also some think that I am happy and finally find a good excuse not to be home. I prefer the latter if insist to come to the end conclusion. Because, it would be high possibility that I am going to leave this "second home" upon graduation this year somewhere in September. Unless someone offer me a post-graduate studies after that, or else I will find myself guilty of not looking for a placement nearer to home since I have the choice.
I will sure missed the time I have jog for years here when I study in USM.
Finally I get to steal the time for travelling in Penang after the final exam. Although it is just a short outing, it worth more than just a memory with friends. Georgetown, the must visit place in Penang, more than the history it tells, it gathers the memories with USM friends as well.
From the historical place, the Fort Cornwallis, Little India, Penang Peranakan Mansion, Penang State Museum, the Jetty, the building (Sue Anne crazy of telling us the style of the building but we used to ignore her so no knowledge of how to describe the building) we visited since the first and second year.
Then during the second year and third year study in Penang, it famous to the wall painting, the brother and sister on the bicycle and so on, to the recent opening cafe of different theme, from the coffee, to the milk crepe or different set menu. And then, there is also opening of the new museum, from the Camera Museum, Made-In Penang Interactive Museum, Batik Painting Museum, and the latest, the wall painting artist, Ernest Zacharevic is opening for a art gallery for a month only for the theme "Art is rubbish is art".

So, life in Penang is never end of new place to explore, even just a simple whole day playing hide and found in the little Georgetown. (My friend and I refuse to join our friends for the Georgetown "jalan-jalan cari makan" but instead we just simply walk through the streets to look at if any unique thing we missed in the past while at the same time teasing and gossip about one another.) My so-called "best sister" in the course and even people used to gossip about us since the first year.
The one from the only two Chinese guys in the class the market value already spoiled by me
because of being too "sister" with me. XD
And now, finally it come to a break that I got to wait to continue the lab after Chinese New Year, as due to certain circumstances in the lab condition that I got to wait and wait. So there creates more and more outing while stealing the time off from studying the journal and also topics on food sciences and technology.
Last but not least, I am going home next Monday for the long awaiting break and meet my beloved friends in the hometown.
Happy New Year in advance from Me and Sue Anne
at the Made In Penang Interactive Museum.
