Are You A Divergent?

Final year undergraduate's life isn't as easy as I thought it should be. Not sure as it is a excuse but it seems to be one for me, I spend more when stress come.
As a reward of sacrificed my holiday for homework, I went out today for the <divergent> that I have miss out last two weeks before it went off from the cinema.

Holiday meant to be a break to fill up what had been drag behind but not able to really rest for nothing. That is not a good feeling for the mid term break. Anyway this is not only during the final year but each semester just that for this one last time seems like so many things had be left behind and have not find a good solution to figure it out how it can be done on time.

Talk about the movie today, because I like it very much, not sure why, I prefer the movie that with girls than only guys and heroes alone. Either there should be a few handsome to watch or else at least a couple, a family and etc. One men show everything is not my cup of tea.

The story line is worth to be relate to our life too ( I like doing so, lets imaginations go wild sometimes, it helps to relieve stress and boost up creativity).
Growing up in this society, with the originally family when you are young until we finish our secondary school, then we started need to make choices; whether to stay or leave home, to start working or continue studies, whether government or private.
Sometimes you get to choose what you want, if you lucky enough, sometimes you got to follow the path where the opportunity is limited, at least there is the opportunity,
sometimes you don't even have the choice but do anything that you can.

Sometimes you full of confident of what you are going to become one day,
Sometimes you are not sure of what should be done,
Sometimes you doubt that whether you can go through it,
Sometimes you surrender to the challenge that you are facing.

Recently, there are natural disasters, accidents, those are sometime depends on your luck, but sometimes, when you read the news about people committed suicide, for various reasons that seems to be just a small matter to most of us, what make them made the choice to the one no return way? There were so many branches that you can go through before you give up, when there is problem, there sure be a way to settle it.

For us, most of the Malaysian grown up locally, go to kindergarten, primary, and secondary school as the basics and government give us free of charge, but what we cannot control is the way we are actually accept the knowledge. We can't choose.

For my age until 23 this year, what I have pass through the education system for secondary school Maths and Science to be taught in Malay in my sister years until mine the first batch of switching it into English and the mess of the teacher itself tried to deal between two languages. I was lucky enough, still able to pass with credits for these paper although my English is not good.
After that, the conflicts between study those subject in English or Malay still continue, not sure is the education or the politician, we have been watching how it change from time to time: the primary chinese school children got to learn science in both Chinese and English ( I got to admit my English was really only ABC level that time), STPM had change to semester system, PMR also no more already, then the Maths and Science change back to Malay. While all these were just what we can see, what is worst is what we cant see, the content. Our education system had been moving backwards where the content has been cancel off a lot to make it easier for the students. It has become so shallow but everyone got to study a variety of subjects without really able to understand them ( I am not sure the other but I did faced that situation like that).

The environment told us that to be successful you need to get a good result, then only you can secure a job and start earning for life, buy house, built a family and etc. What do we end up as then?

It is only that as you go further, you explore more and find out more of the choice you can make in life you will know better what you can do.

Just a simple example, if you wanna to go oversea, it is not necessary you got to keep a huge amount of money to travel. If you are smart, you may be get a scholarship to study overseas, if you are a local college student, you may seek for the international exchange program to have experience, if you are patient you can also join volunteer program in foreign country, other choices like working holidays, low budget backpacking and etc.

Therefore, everyone travel to a different place with various targets they want to achieve. Thus made all the stories unique and it is only that you experience it you will know what is exactly happening.

Not really having any intentions to scold the education system today. What I wanted to share is that nor matter how a society are trying to shape us to be one kind whether sometimes even brainwashing, there will be some out-liners that will break the rule. It can be good or bad depends on whether it brings benefits or bad. Most importantly, we are all living in a world that everyone have their own thinking independently, the best choice to live peacefully is to tolerate with one another, open to discussions are always a better choice than you tries to do everything at behind the scene, it creates doubts and unhappiness, unless you are the one who tries to monopoly and want people to follow blindly, which to me, it is certainly should not be the case for our society. Hmm. I end up with I am the one who do not know where my imagine have bring me today.
